Hey

I'm Katie Faith, an on-location Lifestyle and Editorial Wedding photographer. I'm originally from Texas, currently based in Southern California, and always down to travel.

A few things about me: I love God and people. I consider myself a photographer by trade, but more a photojournalist at heart. Bold coffee is a must everyday, all day. Good pens are the secret to good writing (not really, I just like them). Genuine laughter makes for the best kinds of photos (really). Pretzels, yoga pretzels, and Disney Land pretzels are all my favorite kinds of pretzels (really, really).

Photography is a passion of mine, and it thrills me to tell beautiful stories of life that will hopefully be forever cherished. I believe that each of us have a story and that each of our stories matter. Why? Because there is beauty in your story, in your lifestyle, in your love, in your brand, and that beauty inspires others. That is exactly what I endeavor to capture through my photos: the real, and really beautiful.

I would be honored to tell your story. It matters.  Let's tell it.

Feel free to message me via my contact page for photo session inquiries. I look forward to meeting you!

BEHIND THE SCENES OF THE PHOTOGRAPHER

A little background story: Before I began my journey in photography, I'll honestly admit to you and I'm pretty embarrassed to say, I didn't consider photography an art. I know, sounds crazy, right? Coming from an artsy background, where drawing or painting a portrait took hours of precision and detail, I thought it was crazy for someone to simply walk up, snap a picture, and call it "art." Needless to say, I have obviously changed my mind, and have been photographing for about 5 years since that exciting realization.

Photography is art. It allows for movement, genuine smiles, real-time laughter, and authentic moments to pour onto my camera's "canvas" in a very real way. It gives me the opportunity to tell your story in vibrant rays of color and light, while simultaneously capturing those ever-fleeting moments that make up the whole of your story. It also allows me to engage and connect with my subject in a very personal way.

I love creating lasting friendships with my clients, so be sure to connect with me elsewhere on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and or Pinterest!

I love people. I love telling stories. I love this thing I call my job.
